I was pleased to hear Mr. Maddock’s explanation of three elements of business development: marketing, sales and service. When I first started saying “sales” in 1994 I didn’t get the warm reception I wanted. About 10 years later I was relieved to see sales out in the open with LSSO and happily joined the organization. I think Mr. Maddock has so much to offer and appreciate when he says advertising can only do so much and you have to keep in mind the basics of talking and keeping in touch with clients by asking them thoughtful questions.
